We prepare three types of lunch boxes: No food restriction, Halal, and Vegetarian on 25th and 26th. When it’s lunchtime, they will be distributed in Room 1. Please remember to bring your lunch ticket with you.

Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum

All participants are allowed to enter the museum free of charge by showing the name tag of CESA2023 from 24th to 27th November.
The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum collects and displays belongings left by the victims, photos, and other materials that convey the horror of that event, supplemented by exhibits that describe Hiroshima before and after the bombing and others that present the current status of the nuclear age.

Plan A

(Atomic Bomb Memoir Appreciation in Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall visiting the Orizuru Tower move to the OUTLET mall)
  • Maximum:100 people
  • Date: November 26, 2023 (Sunday)
  • Gathering Place & Time: the Entrance of the International Conference Center, 1:10 PM (We are planning to finish around 8:30 PM.).
  • Fee: 2,000 JPY
Course:
  1. Appreciation of poems by A-bomb survivors, DVD watching, and Impressions sharing session.
  2. Move to the Orizuru (Paper Crane) Tower. We feel and learn about the current revived Hiroshima from the top of the tower.
  3. We will visit the sophisticated Outlet mall by busses. You can enjoy shopping here!

Gathering place is not the International Conference Center Hiroshima.


Plan B-1

(Visit the Honkawa Elementary school in Hiroshima City & Miyajima Island Tour)
  • Maximum: 40 people
  • Date: November 27, 2023 (Monday)
  • Gathering Place & Time: Entrance of Aster Plaza, 9:00 AM
    (We are planning to finish around 7:00 PM.)
  • Fee: 5,000 JPY
Course:
  1. Visit the Honkawa Elementary School on foot and enjoy with pupils.
  2. Move to Miyajima-Island (One of the world heritage sites designated by UNESCO and is positioned as one of the 3 most beautiful sites in Japan. The red vermilion collar grand gate is very famous as the symbol of Japan. We see this gate in a lot of photos and sightseeing magazines)
    You will visit the island by the sea with specially chartered boats from the pier close to the A-bomb dome and can enjoy the island with Momiji Manju cake which is one of Hiroshima’s specialties in your free time.

Plan B-2

(Experience of the Tea Ceremony as Japanese culture and have the A-bomb Survivor Testimony by Mrs. Keiko Ogura who explained to the G7 summit members in May & Miyajima Island Tour)
  • Maximum:60 people

    (We are planning to finish around 7:00 PM.)

Course:
  1. Experience of the Tea Ceremony
  2. Experience the A-bomb survivor testimony by Mrs. Keiko Ogura who met with summit representatives at the G7 Summit and shared her A-bomb experience. You can listen to the lecture from her.
